AVENO donates its old computers to Africa
Aveno
encourages a sustainable future. Therefore, we’ve decided to find a new home
for our old computers, laptops and printers. Our IT department came up with a
solution named South Cluster and donated our old hardware to Africa.
Who is South Cluster and what do they do?
South
Cluster is a non-profit organization that is committed to collect donated
computers and install them in schools and community projects based on education
in Africa. All data is erased and computers are refurbished to full
functionality.
South
Clusters aim is to install 40.000 computers in African High Schools and
educational communities by 2020. To achieve this, South Clusters partners with
major institutions and corporations so they can collect and refurbish
depreciated IT equipment and make them available for Africa.

We have declared war on poverty and underdevelopment in Africa. Of these three conditions that make development possible in Africa, Education is the most fundamental.

South Clusters Goal
Our main goal is to revitalize the declining secondary education in our continent. And the success of the currently running projects proves beyond a doubt that this goal to provide cost-efficient state of the art education to African countries within a small time frame is manageable.
