At Aveno we try to contribute to a healthy and sustainable environment for everyone. We have high standards concerning our choice of raw materials; therefore we only accept oils and fats of the highest quality to use in our products.

The Aveno facility uses 100% green energy. We strive to keep our CO2 emissions as low as possible. Our entire roof is covered with a solar panels, 7500m² to be exact. The solar system produces electricity comparable to the consumption of 297 households every year.

We avoid 416 tonnes of CO2 emissions - this is the equivalent of the amount of CO2 that 10.687 trees absorb every year. By using heat exchangers, we can store the heat that is released during the production process and we use it to heat up our office and storage tanks.

We are a member of the RSPO. The Roundtable for Sustainable Palm Oil ensures that palm oil is grown in a sustainable way by rebuilding forest that were destroyed or occupied for the production of palm oil avoiding fertilizers & pesticides.

Creating a healthy environment for our employees and customers is very important. That's why we are BRC and Riskplaza certified. These organizations monitor the safety regulations of the food sector world wide.

These are just a few ways in which we try to improve the environment in a sustainable way.
